I met Melissa Bult many years ago when I had heard good things about an ‘angel intuitive’ and was curious to find out more.
I was immediately drawn to her sweet nature and was fascinated by some of the things she was able to tell me about myself after doing an ‘angel reading’ for me. Frankly, it was as if she knew me – and we’d only just met. In fact, it was Melissa who said that my passion for ‘green’ living and health, would see me doing something in that sort of area… And here we are.
I asked Melissa a few questions so I could introduce her to the Happy Healthy Green community.
At what point in your life did you realise that you would work in the spiritual realm?
I was always very open spiritually and had a feeling my life had some involvement with this realm since I was a young child but it didn’t really cement until I was about 18. It was then that I stumbled across my first spiritual teacher and got involved in meditation. I became more open to the spiritual realms and starting seeing and speaking with the angels. From that point on nothing was ever the same.
What is an angel intuitive?
An angel intuitive is someone that specifically works with the angelic realm (guardian angels, angels and Archangels) and using intuitive senses can bring through messages from these loving celestial beings. You do not have to be ‘special’ or ‘gifted’ to work with angels but generally more sensitive and intuitive individuals find it easier to make contact with higher realm beings such as angels. You can learn how to become more in-tune with your angelic helpers and how to build your intuitive muscle.
Who are ‘the angels’ you refer to and how do they help us?
Angels are non-denominational spiritual messengers that protect, assist and support humanity. They are a specific group of celestial beings that reside on a higher dimension and they help us through protection, guidance, support and healing. Often portrayed as having wings, this is how the usually appear but most often people will feel their presence more than actually seeing them. Whenever you are in need you can simply think the through ‘angels please help me’ and they will answer you. The answer may come in the form of a thought or feeling or a physical sign. You may also simply feel more at peace with the situation after asking for assistance. No call goes unanswered but sometimes we miss the answers because we are attached to a particular outcome or we are too stressed.
How do you see your role as an angel intuitive?
As an angel intuitive, my job is to bring through messages from the angels for others who may not be receiving the messages themselves or simply want confirmation that they are hearing their intuitive guidance correctly. My role is never to tell others what decisions to make, what their future will be, or how they should live their life, but rather to offer supportive, positive and helpful guidance from the angels. Angel guidance is always uplifting and loving, and encourages people to make positive changes, understand their potential and realise they can be a co-creator of their future.
You offer other ways of helping people – can you talk us through these?
I am also a qualified life coach and have trained as a ‘Heal Your Life and Achieve Your Dreams’ teacher and coach – based on the work of Louise L. Hay. Life coaching involves one hour sessions which are created to suit the individual’s needs. A coach provides encouragement, support and guidance, and knows how to ask the right questions to get you to the right answers. In much of my coaching practice we work on changing negative patterns or thought forms which might be holding someone back, practice goal setting and building self-love and self-esteem as these are key factors in creating a great life. Some people want to make lots of changes while others that are happy with their life simply want to take it to the next level.
Can you share your top health / wellness tip?
Meditate as often as possible. People get very confused about meditation and believe it is complicated and difficult but really it isn’t. Meditation is really about relaxing and learning how to discipline the mind. It has excellent benefits for mental, emotional and physical wellbeing. A great basic meditation to start off with would be to light a candle and sit in front of it in a comfortable position, keep your eyes focused on the candle and take in some deep breaths. Breathe in through the nose and gently release through the mouth. As you begin to relax with your breath notice if you mind begins to wander. Whenever it does come back to focusing on your inhalation and exhalation and focus on the candle flame. With time and practice you will find your mind is able to stay quiet and you will feel so much more centred and relaxed you will want to do it for 20-30 minutes!
